The sacrament of Confirmation, as outlined by Diocesan guidelines, is available for high school youth who choose to participate in the two-year preparation process. Its many components include large and small group sessions, retreats, liturgical celebrations and both parish and community service. Registration forms are sent out to those eligible in May of eighth grade year. Candidates must have completed 8 years (or equivalent) of religious education and are expected to attend Mass regularly.
