Religious Education Registration

Dear Parents,

During all of the uncertainties, faith in God and a profound trust in Providence are our source of strength and peace. Your registration in our Faith Formation Program is a decision for the well being of your child and is an avenue for your own spiritual development.

Registration will remain open until August 15. Enrollment is offered to all registered parishioners. (Not sure if you are registered? Please contact the Parish Office 973-779-6200.)

As we continue to emerge from the pandemic as a parish community, we are discerning the best path forward for our programs, combining in-person elements and digital resources for our catechetical programs. Although state, local, and CDC guidelines and restrictions are moving in a positive direction, we will have to await further guidance.

Before starting the registration process, please make sure to have the following documents:

• For the Religious Education Program (Grades 1-8): Baptismal Certificate.
• For the Confirmation Program (Grades 9-10): Baptismal Certificate and First Communion Certificate.
• If your child was enrolled in the Religious Education Program at another parish previously, have the copy of their certificate/letter of completion.

As you know, the Eucharist is the center of our Catholic life. Attending the Mass as a family is one of the greatest gifts you can share with your child, as is gathering together to pray daily at home.  In order to help our families more easily participate in the Mass, our Religious Education and Confirmation Program sessions will continue to be held on Sunday morning. As we have done in the past, Masses are scheduled in order to allow families to participate in Sunday worship.
