All Are Welcome
There were some Greeks among those whose practice it was to come to the feast in Jerusalem. Now they spoke to Philip, who came from Bethsaida in Galilee, and they made a request to him. ‘Sir,’ they said, ‘we wish to see Jesus.’ Philip went and told Andrew, and Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.

Philip experiences surprise and a literal tug of ministry as the persistent woman and eager man seek to meet Jesus. The needs of others change Philip’s direction and he in turn seeks the advice of his brother disciple. Notice the interactive relationships inherent in discipleship and ministry.
